Celebrating Sheffield Grassroots Reggae, Sound System & DJ Culture

We are thrilled to launch our new event ‘Rooted’ - a collaborative showcase of some of Sheffield's best grassroots Reggae sound systems, selectors & DJs at the much-loved Hagglers Corner - a venue championing local independent music, arts and small businesses.

Four local reggae sound systems - Abzu, Burning Bug, Dubcentral & Gruff’N’Low, across 3 areas of the venue!

We decided to go beyond just throwing together a party - we created a new collaborative event - Rooted. Designed to showcase Reggae culture and the depth of talent that Sheffield has to offer, all for an affordable ticket price.

Starting at 3pm, we'll be covering three areas of the venue until late into the night. Travel from the Courtyard to the Attikk and the Main Bar on a journey through conscious music ranging from Roots Reggae, Dub, Steppas and Dancehall all the way to Hip Hop, Afrobeats, and World Music.

One ticket gives you access to a full day and night of music - 11 hours across 3 areas, 15 acts, and 5 sound systems, covering the full spectrum of reggae.
It’s the last bank holiday of the year. The end of summer. This is how we do it!
